Commaful Poetry Prompts

These are the little ditties I write from the daily word challenge on Commaful https://commaful.com/play/bettyv/?r=bettyv

A Sky Full Of Eye (The challenge word was Drone)

Hold the phone

I’m a drone

All rotors and tiny whirring motors

Hovering Free

And High

In wide open spaces

Checking out places

And oh so famous faces

No more hacks

In grubby old mac’s

If you’ve been papped

It’s my lens that snapped

It’s a growing tide

You can’t run

Or hide

Previous rules are no longer applied!

  1. A modern paperazzi, a spy of the highest order, a weapon to save lives in rescue situations. The drone. I believe this tiny whirrling thing will be remembered as the first Artificial intel to change the world. Both good and bad, there is so often a double edged sword. Yours is the first poem I have read about a drone … I shall remember this.
